The recommendation I usually give to my students about computer diving is we still use RDP (table or wheel) for planning your dive. The dive computer is there as a backup for you to monitor your dive profile.

I have both an Aladin Prime and an Aladin TEC. They are not the most intuitive computers, but I find them to be very good once you understand them.
It took me a lot of time following the manual and scrolling through screens to get oriented.
