Do you have to have your master scuba diver card, to be a master scuba diver instructor?

No. Completely different thing.

MSDT means 25 credits (courses or x5 try divers etc) and can TEACH 5 specialities or more.

To teach them you dont have to do them first - equivalent experience from other diving is accepted. Even if you did the PADI specialities you dont need the MSD card to go with them.

Im an MSDT and have never taken a padi speciality in my life (my first padi qual was divemaster).

So no, not even that is a reason to do MSD.
