The only problem with Witherspoon, he won't insure you if you are a newly certified Inst. or DM, or you are applying for insurance for the first time.

This is true. However, he takes every application on its own merits. There's no reason NOT to apply. If he says "no" you go to V&B.

I follow this discussion with interest: Once you have picked your insurance carrier, I was wondering what is considered adequate coverage - $1 Million per incident, $2M or $10M???!!! Does anyone know whether an Instructor or DM have ended up without adequate coverage when an court award has been granted?
