We arrived in Largo last night, sorted our gear and prepped for an early morning. 0600 wake up time and it sounds like trains are running past our hotel room. Yep, rain. Lots of rain. Pop over to Quiescence and sure enough, cancelled today. Doesn't look good for the rest of the week, either. We're hoping it will turn but not likely. If we cancel tomorrow we'll probably leave the keys early and head up to Jupiter 2 days ahead of schedule. Bummer.

We did run over to the dive history museum today, though, which was cool. Saw some Scubaboard stickers on the counter in there too. Hoping to get wet (below the surface) tomorrow somewhere...

Much more fun being rained out in Key West. Having said that, we hope you enjoy Jupiter.

Not fun, hopefully Jupiter works out

NDBC - Station MLRF1

It wasn't the rain so much but wind! 25-30 knots = 6-10 ft seas. I noticed earlier today that it was blowing big out of the east at Molasses--still is tonite!! The link above is for Molasses Reef tower conditions--take a look early in the morning.

Hey join the club, I haven't dove in so long, my stuff is dry.

Bailed on Largo, now in West Palm. Doing a BHB dive this evening and hopefully weather will treat us right for boat dives later this week. LBTS was blown out too...
