There are many OTHER threads on this subject. The short answer is NO.

There's no evidence suggesting that it does. Not to start a weird conversation thread, but it seems to smell wrong to them. The composition of menstrual blood is a bit different from "injured seal" blood smell.

And I've dived while menstruating, but always with protection. It's bad enough that I *pee* in my wetsuit; I don't want to get more creative. :14:
 
speaking unfortunately from experience, I got my period the day before I did my open water certification in Maui, the only thing it did was irratate me at its timing. After the skills we went swimming near a white tip reef shark and it DIDN'T look at me like lunch. :wink: They say as long as your physically able to dive then dont let it stop you, and besides that the exercise is really good for the cramps.
