Dive #1 was my first drysuit dive and ive never once dived in this country in a wetsuit.
Drysuits are not difficult at all. They have a button for air-in and a valve to let it out. Provided it fits properly, weighting is correct and you can do a roll thats about it.
It doesn't need a course - an experienced buddy can show it in 20 mins.
