I know a few people who dive with Capt. Beard charters and speak very highly of the trips. My only concern is that he reportedly jumps in with the divers, meaning that there is no one left on the boat while its tied to the rig.
Old resurrected thread but I have to say that is absolutely not true. There is always someone on the boat who can start it and move it on the rare occasions Capt. Beard dives. Often he will snorkel beside the boat, looking at the fishies, the divers, the hull and props, and the mermaids. We cater to divers and fishers (spear or rod n reel). Snapper season has been extended a few days so we're going out tomorrow.
