Anyone know of any organizations looking for volunteers to do reef rahabilitation work in this hemisphere?

Sorry, I keep forgetting about y'all over there in the Old Country. Looking to volunteer for some reef rehab work somewhere between South Florida and Panama. I figure that a volunteer should be able to get quite a bit of bottom time along with a place to sleep and eat either cheap or free.

hm, im all for doing reef work, but financially, it doesnt appear to be cheap or free. actually, the orgs listed in this thread seem to cost similar price to not doing it.

cost aside, it could be a good way to do something more interesting than just going on a fun dive, while adding to the knowledge of an ecosystem that so many of us enjoy.

but free? dont think so.

Yep. All the offers I saw were volunteer alright. Volunteer your money. Oh well, it was a good idea.
