I went snorkeling last year with a broken pelvis!! Had just broken it a week before going on my trip to Fla. Since they really can't put a cast on you, I really didn't have any limitations but I couldn't put any weight on my right leg. The swimming felt great cause I could use both legs and those muscles that weren't being used much, but getting back on the boat was a challenge. I can't imagine trying that with all the scuba gear. Must be at least 50+ pounds!!! No thanks! Better off checking w/ DR before going!
