Is there a max number of spots available for this Invasion. It is unlikely I can swing it, but if I am able to I would not know till near the final paytment deadline.

Yes at this time we are limited to 100 rooms. We may be able to get more rooms in the future but there is no guarantee. We will be limiting the number of divers to 200 as this is the maximum number our dive op can handle comfortably.

The only way to guarantee your spot at the invasion is to call and make a deposit. We cannot have unlimited space and time for obvious reasons.

Thanks cardzard.

I wish I could make a deposit, but I just can't do it at this time. If nothing else I could go to Cozumel at the same time, and meet scubaboaders in and around town one evening. Hopefully, things will work out to where I can officially join the trip before it is unavailable.

 It'd be worth the trip just to see a wave of 200 SB divers go thru the tunnel onto the docks to board for the 8am departure. :shocked2: Any bets on how many will say "Hold the boat; I left something in the room!" first day? I want to be on the front boat so I can video the rest of the armada as we head south and go around the cruise boats. By the end of the week, we should all be mooning the foo-foo boats with good timing. :mooner:

Did you see we will have CCR support at the Invasion.
I thought the rebreather folks might like to hear this.

Must haves would be access to O2 and air fills for ccr bottles, some sort of tank for bailout. Sorb would be nice, but can bring my own if needed.

I am pasting the response from Dive Paradise. It sounds like it's just a matter of logistics.

Hi Dennis

Meridiano 87 is the primary source of gas (for breathing) in Cozumel. I am assured they can fill any bottles to any specifications. They have both air and oxygen. We are advised that the scrubbing compounds are in limited supply, and that people should bring their own, as well as the appropriate adaptors for their bottles.

Sweet! We're glad the 2 of you are going to make the trip.
Are you both divers?

Yes, we're both Rescue Divers and looking forward to yet another dip in the H2O surrounding Cozumel. My wife (Jen) is the most enthusiastic. We've both been diving since we got married but just got around to getting certified a couple of years ago. Now life revolves around where we're going diving next. This deal was just tooooo good to pass up. We're going to the Keys in March then Coz in June... life is good!
