I didn't end up using the Pilot (used a MK-2/156 on my pony, no octo on the primary regulator)....

Kraken was as anticipated. Even my concerns of the new DSV freezing open or shut were never experienced.

Air temps were below 0f
That looks pretty darn cold (yes, I know I am stating the obvious). I love diving, but I am not sure if I love diving that much to do that. LOL. But it is pretty cool (no pun intended) to see a Kraken in action. Heard a lot about it but never seen it.
 
hey wasn't the an old rhyme ??? red hose at night sailors delight red hose in the morning sailors take warning ....I may be wrong........ as I was army not navy........steve
