I'm a Fish!
Hi all-

I recently went diving @ Devil's Den with 3/2mm full wetsuit. That is definitely not enough to keep me warm in 65 degree - I was so freezing! Would that be possible to add skin, will that help to keep me warm a little more? Or just go for 5mm full suit?

Thanks in advance!

3mm may be OK for energetic swimming in 65F

65 F water... warrants 7mm w/ hood for any significant exposure. A 5mm with a vest and hood can get by for modest single dives. YMMV

Skins are worthless as far as warm goes in my opinion. I actually believe they hinder the effects of the neoprene. The only advantage to them is that it makes puttings suits a little eaiser.

I just ordered 5mm full wetsuit, on sale for 90 dollars. Thanks guys!
