Trioxane heat tabs. As i recall they came with each case of C's along with some packets of John Waynes. We rarely got to use the heat tabs though. Heating actually took time.

C4 actually worked great to heat food. The only problem was that you could not stomp out the flame due to the fact that you would be blow sky high :11: .

Those are great when you peal back the tape on a smoke grenade and put them in there. Instant CS grenade :11: (hmmm I dunno if I should have told you that trick).

We used to do that with the MRE peanut butter.......NASTY!!
