General MacArthur's Park, Leyte. This is where the US landed to liberate the Philippines from Japan, and eventually, the entire South East Pacific.

Nice Chip. I drove by the park on the way back to the airport. If I wasn't in such a rush to find if I could catch a flight back to Manila (after all the ferries were cancelled to Cebu!), I would have stopped to take some pics.
