Seems like manufacters have developed more than one wetsuit heater lately. Here's list of other recent divesuit heater gizmos. Can't wait to see which one turns out to be best. I get cold easily when diving.

PacketSniffer:
It would be nice to just buy the heating portion of this product and wear it like a light vest in a dry suit. The control module may be adjustable from within a dry suit. Reason? On dives with obligated deco in cold water, it's not a good idea to rely on electronics like this to keep you in the water. So, I wouldn't use the wet suit.

No need to buy a new Wetsuit.
No battery packs to worry about.

They don't ship until summer. I was told that the suits will not be released until most dealers have a supply and repair technicians have been trained to fix anything that might go wrong.

There are Beta testers out there (I tried to get a suit as a tester) but you must be a retailer...

Did you end up getting one? How is it?

Ripcurl is a popular California surfboard suit maker, they also make dive exposure suits; I just ordered one of these, shipping Summer 2007: Rip Curl - Introducing the H-Bomb Wetsuit

These have been out for years, its called a DRYSUIT.. lol... :rofl3:

I have seen one a few years ago in my LDS that mounted to your chest and had tubes that pumped hot/warm water out to your feet and hands.. Looked pretty cool but was rather pricy..

I talked to Rip Curl in Irvine, Ca. earlier this week. The H-Bomb suit is shipping "pre-holiday"; the sales-rep figures late November 2007 for the US release. I've pre-bought two suits from a Ca. retailer.

hate to say it but i bought my new bare dry suit for less than the price of this wet suit .:rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:

500 for a new dry suit or 750 for the H bomb wet suit you do the math dry suit win all the time in my book.
