3k is a lot. And the farther it is away from directly below or above your centers of mass and buoyancy, the greater the moment and therefore the greater the impact.

It was only after my second dive with them that I noticed one had a stamped weight of 11.1kg and the other 14.6kg. They were floaty as hell near the end of the dive because at only 1.67 - 68 metres tall and without a buttplate, the attachment points were pretty near to the centre of the tanks so in a way, I was happy I still managed to do a few decent hovers. :D
