My wife and I stayed at Ocean Village Beach Resort which is very close to town. At that time OVBR was running a "Stay 3 nights, pay only for 2" deal so I ended up staying in one of their nice duplex units for only $300. There are more economical choices in town and outside of town. It just depends on your comfort level and budget. My friend found a B&B for $99 per night.
