Looking at purchasing the Tusa Dry Suit Heat Retaining System. Can be found at http://www.scubatoys.com/store/Scuba_DrySuits.asp 5th item down.

What are peoples thoughts on this dry suit? What do people think of the brand Tusa?
Good quality suits?

I don't have any experience with the suit, however, I'm very good with thermal transfer equations.

Most of what they have is advertising, not physics.

"* 3.5 mm Hyper Compressed Neoprene has warmth of a 7 mm suit"

"3.5 mm hyper compressed neoprene" can't possibly have the "warmth of a 7mm suit", since it's not 7mm thick. Compressing neoprene makes it insulate worse, not better.

"* Double Titanium Alpha Lining"

Virtually all the heat you lose is through convection and conduction, not radiation. Titanium, gold, platinum, lead or any other metal they choose to use will only make the heat loss worse, not better.

The rest of the features look good, and are pretty standard. It's most likely a good suit, but certainly not revolutionary.
