Nobody in their 20s is crazy enough to dive in the UK.

Not to mention Scandinavia, or Canada, or NW USA, or...

We're all in our forties or older up here. Them young'uns are too sensible to even consider diving in such extreme conditions.

sorry but i don't see where that says they weren't using rebreathers.

so one died from surfacing too quickly, and the other persons cause of death was given as drowning. if you were on a rebreather and something went wrong with it and you didn't get on to your bail out in time would you not drown ? and if someone saw their buddy was struggling / unconcious would they not try to get them to the surface (potentially risking their own life at the same time) ?

from my reading the newspaper reports it says nothing about what they were doing only the medical causes of death. need much more information before you can make any judgement on the issues which were the causes of the causes.
