I tell the same thing to every diver I meet---Before you die, dive Palau. Make certain you do it from a live-aboard. Since you are going that far, take three days and dive with the mantas at Yap. Also in my top dive experiences would be the Galapagos, Coco Island and the Somo Somo Straight in Fiji. I hope you all can make these dive sites ! The Professor

I have just returned from the antarctic on an adventure voyage and whilst sea kayaking among the icebergs and being toyed with and spy on by leopard seals and several different species of whale i have set myself a goal of returning in Feb 2010 to dive with these glorious mammals and all the penguins of course.
I currently do all my diving in port Philip Bay near Melbourne and i have dived off Koh Tau in Thailand

The reason that I find it impossible to answer is that they are good in different ways.

Mantas: Sangalakki, Kalimantan ( Indonesian part of Borneo)
