How about 9:30am at Service Club? I prefer this to Alhambra since there is a freshwater rinse for our gear...
If that is your reason, I have two words... water jug

Use it for the sand on your feet... Then take your gear over to the showers at Venice Beach (Usually less distance to travel with gear there)... But, I find it just as easy to wash my gear at home and hang it to dry...

Several months ago. They've built a new bathroom area with two showers.

When did Sharky's pave their lot?

Sharkey's parking lot is not paved, the new county park next to Sharkeys is. Sharkeys lot is still just dirt and sand. There is a good bit of construction work going on in Sharkeys lot...maybe they are gonna pave it too.

It was paved this week when I stopped in for lunch...

Walter last saturday afternoon my daughter , her boyfriend and I went out at alahambra. Was that you we spoke to after diving out on the road ? No wet suit on a long dive! If so I wished I would have introduced myself!

No wet suit, skull & cross bones do rag and a white beard we were at the Blue Explorer. That was Nancy and me. We'll be back this weekend as well.
