Quick math indicates the initial speed of the spear would be on the order of:

speed of bullet / weight of bullet
= speed of spear / weight of spear

spear_friend:
what is the best stuff to use to seal a bullet?
-------------------------------------------------------
nail polish will seal a round.

Best is an invasive liquid..
Liquid radiator sealer, avaliable at automobile supply houses has proven to be the best over all for sealing a round.

There is apparently a certain amount of mass confussion about a Bang Stick and a Power head. There is a difference.

suggest that you might want to review the article published about 5 years ago on the Freedivelist titled "Power heads and Bang sticks"
