Anyone have any experience with wetsuits form Waterproof? From the research I have done, they seem to be nice, but I have not talked to anyone that has either seen, or used, one. If you have what did you like / not like about it. Would you buy / use one again?

Thank you for any insights you can give.

I've met their Florida representative at Oceanfest, he seems eager to sell them and promised me he'll have a dealer in S. Florida in the next few weeks, he said the closest store to S. Florida is in Tampa.. 5 hours drive for a wetsuit?.. by the time I'll kill my DeepSea cheapsuit I think he will have a dealer near by.

I know Florida doesn't help you much but he claims they just started improting them to the US about 2 years ago, so I expect they'll have dealers in every major location in a few months.

He tried to sell me and when he said "its one of the best companies for wetsuits, they are known all over Europe" I said "I know" and he was a bit dissapointed he can't give me a sales pitch.. :D

I have a 3 mm suit and I love it. It keeps me a lot warmer then my former 3 mil. I raved about it so much, my husband went out and bought a 5 mil. I've maybe done about 40 dives in my suit in water ranging from 69-78 degrees and I was comfortable.

I was recently on a liveaboard in Fiji where the crew all had these suits. They said they had their suits for at least 3 years. So, fiigure these guys do at least 4 dives a day for at least 45 weeks of the year. Thats A LOT of use (and abuse) and their suits were still holding up well.

Hope that helps

I just got one and now my wife insists on getting one too. The quality seems superb, it fits well and makes me look a lot fitter than I am :sappy: and it goes on and off extremely easy.
