I often travel to Coz with 3 reg sets (one for single tank and a doubles set up) two wetsuits, backplate, two wings (single and double tank) a heavy light, couple of reels, 2 masks, and some other assorted crap for diving in both Coz and on the mainland, in a duffle bag with all my clothes, and it's never weighed 50 lbs. The only dive gear I don't check is the computer, and that's only when I remember.

I'm having a tough time understanding why a single person's dive gear for a week in Coz would weigh more than 50 lbs. But, to each his own. A couple, sure, but don't you each get 50 lbs?

That's dive gear for 2 of us in 1 case. 4 wetsuits 3 fins, and all the rest except 1 prescription mask
