It's amazing what you can get into a 22-inch carry-on!
So it's all the gear where I can keep an eye on it, except bulky things (fins, wetsuit) and prohibited things (dive shears, spooky-looking flashlights) which go into the check-in bags. And rent the weights and tanks, of course. Hey, how much clothing do you really need at the beach?
The real test once we finally settle on an overseas trip will be the "personal items" my husband and I carry. He likes his laptop and camera, and I guess I'm stuck with cargo pants and my purse wedged into my bag!
