If i do not wear my canister-light (like on recreational holiday dives) i put a zipper-bag on my waistbelt und tuck the hose underneath that...

Sometimes I don't wear my canister...like at the moment when I have no bulb. Longhose tucked into harness belt ? seems logical.

That's what JJ recommends.

Before I had a cannister, I tucked it into my belt with the extra "loop" tucked in over my right hip. Easy to deploy...more fun to stow :D

i've got a 5 ft hose. my buddies all have 7 ft hoses. none of them have lights. all of them tuck it into their belts and pull it towards the back so that it is out of the way.

the other option is to loop it under the knife. may or may not fall out, depending on the individual.

I carry crash sciossrs on waist...so the hose wont stay tucked nicely the belt seems to be the best option.

Just dived Race Rocks in Victoria BC today...killer drift/current dives, we just gave er into the current for a bit then turned and (captain said it was a few knots) flew right into a nice backeddie...we signaled and went for another ride....sea lion came buy to check on us during safety stop too, nice of her !
