Another destination you may consider is Northeastern Brazil. The island of Fernando de Noronha, in particular, is small enough to accommodate both activities and is very highly hated on both. Considering you speak Portuguese, it would be even easier for you to have a nice stay.

Again, where else in the world can you snowboard/ski in the Winter, AND surf & dive as well --all in the same general locale & accessible by private car . . . and do it all in the same day??? And with a year-round perfect Mediterranean Climate most preferable to live in!

We work & play hard here in SoCal, and with so much to do here we also live very well, easy & laid back . . .because the Best deserves the Best!:cool2:

Bali, but a short boat ride away on Nusa Lembongan, 45min east of Bali. Beautiful diving and wonderful surfing. North side drift dives, manta's to the south on Nusa Penida. Surfing at Playgrounds, Lacerations, Shipwrecks... If the swell is high, best to dive on the northern side of Nusa Penida. You can stay at the same place. No need for a car and it's relatively inexpensive. This is our 3 day weekend getaway.
