Where to get certified Dallas area?

Wife and I recently moved to the Dallas area, just southwest of Greenville to be more specific. I can't seem to find anywhere within an hour of here to get certified. Blue Sea Adventures (Scuba Gear, Swimming, Snorkeling Gear, Dive Equipment) is closing their Rockwall store, and I had been looking at them even though their SDI and not PADI.

Anyone have any advice for an aspiring diver?

I would suggest finding a shop that is relatively close. I wouldn't worry too much about which agency they are. All of the agencies use the same basic format and guidelines for recreational open water diver. With the way the economy has worked for scuba stores, the relatively close may be a good hour drive unfortunately. I am more familiar with shops in the Fort Worth area and can tell you where not to go easier than where to go. You can always PM if you would like.

Look into Eastfield College in Mesquite for the spring semester. It's an eight week program with a great instructor. There is the typical school hour class then one in the evening. You can also PM me for further info.
