Why wait, when you can make a kick *** Mojito in the comfort of you own home:)

Here's Bacardi's recipe for a Classic Mojito, http://www.bacardimojito.com/default.aspx
Cool I'll have to make one, I made the mistake of planting mint in my yard, the stuff grows better than weeds.

Spent a week in February searching for a good Mojito on Cozumel. Sadly did not find a good one. Casa Denis was close, the best we had on the island. We did the ones at LaCocay...ok, but nothing to write home about. We have another trip planned, so the research goes on. All in the name of science of course.

We did find a great Mojito at a little sidewalk bar in Playa. I'll see if I can dig up the name in case anyone gets over there.

Love Mojitos. Your mission is a good one. A Mojito in Mexico is always better than one in the U.S. It's not just what's in the drink but where you are drinking it that makes the difference.

Primas makes a good Mojito and so does the "No Name Bar" at the Hotel Barracuda. The "No Name Bar" has a fun atmosphere and mixed crowd of locals, tourists and divers. But best to go while the sun is still up.

LOL

There used to be a good place on the waterfront, just down from the museum - was called Havana Club. Beautiful view and good mojitos. Alas, it is now closed.

I also like the Cuban restaurant (El Casino?) on 5th. Theirs is a bit smaller and a bit sweeter than the Havana Club's. But again, a good spot to people watch if you get a table by the front.

Yes, my new favorite drink. Really, really good at the bar I believe it is called the Blue Room. It is located over the Forum Shops, at the very end of the shopping district on Melgar. They have a balcony for a great view while you sip. Enjoy!

They grow better than weeds, sweet:D I'm going to Home Depot tomorrow and plant a bunch of them in my yard.
And oh yeah, I'm taking down names of cozumel bars with awesome Mojitos as well. As Paradise hunter said, its also the location that makes the difference.

Cheesecake Factory makes a good one.
Heck yea they can! There's is pretty good.

But I still haven't found one that beats the Mojito I had in Miami back in January :14:

Thanks for backing me up. I think the key is to muddle the mint with sugar by hand versus using some sugary, pre-mixed syrup. YMMV
