I suppose you are correct. The water can get pretty hairy around Alma Jane. I have seen the current so strong that a diver looks like a flag in a very strong wind on the descent line. Needless to say, we cancelled that dive. After that dive Warren and I both sort of got a little freaked out by that dive......weird conditions.
