I'll update this first post as a running synopsis of this thread.

When: Saturday, May 13th
Where: La Jolla Shores, San Diego County

What is the Wrinkles Dive?

This is a monthly gathering of all divers and non-divers in SoCal who can make it. It's a lot of fun involving diving, eating, socializing and last month even camping!

It all started when our SoCal member, Wrinkles, mentioned to a group that she dove with that it would be really fun to be able to get together at least once a month. Pasley, took off with the idea and announced the first "Wrinkles Dive". The rest is history!

It's open to everyone of all skill levels from "I'm not certified yet" to "Do we really have to dive the Andrea Doria again?"

We've found this to be a great way to meet our fellow divers locally and many new dive buddies have been found though these "dive soirees".

Air/Nitrox/Trimix Fills:

OE Express Scuba and Kayak Center
(OE Express only has air. In the past, they've often had problems with their fill equipment and have been unable to fill over 3000 psi. We keep going there because they are within walking distance of La Jolla Shores. If you don't mind the drive, Dive Pro seems to be a consistently better choice.)

I can bring the MEAT!

Burgers and dogs for everyone!!!!!

Terry

I am SO looking forward to this, Terry (and others.) Jake and I will be coming down Friday night and staying semi-locally. We'll dive our faces off on Sat (I know I will, at least) then we'll dine and stay over to Sunday. On Sunday we're seeing some friends down there and likely going to hang out inland for half a day.

I'm so fired up. Wanted to dive the canyon for a long, long time!

I'm hoping I can make this one and break my 37-year drought of mainland diving!

I'm planning on being there with dessert

Ok... this one I can make.
