I would like to put a poll out to see what dive shops around the country are charging for nitrox 36% fills. We have varying costs in our area and wanted to compare it to others.

The going rate up in Ontario is about $15 Canadian = about $10 US

~$10 in the greater Washington, DC area.

Best regards.

$10/fill here in the Panhandle (Destin area)

My cost to "make one", from an empty tank, using my own fillstation is about $2.50.

here in israel, it is $6-$7 USD....

and I thought it was too much

Listed price is around 0.7 € per liter of tank volume, so prices are from 8$ to 12$ (depending on volume) but lower prices can be found.

I won't skew the poll by voting my cost... but the LDS prices in the greater Seattle area range from $8~$14 for a single.

I had one LDS owner complain to me that at $8 a fill he was losing money on nitrox.

Hopefully they can make up the loss O2 cleaning nitrox diver's drysuits.

Hey! do you really think there's money in O2 cleaning dry suits?

$8 for a single, $16 for doubles and in NC it's around $12 for a single.

LDS has a great program

For up to 60%
$8 / tank
$7 /tank when you purchase 10 fill card
$4 / tank for club members ($35 a year)
$0 / tank (the price for club members that they like)

Not so bad....

They do Helium , Argon, and DAN O2 fills as well.

O2 cleaning drysuits??? YIKES... that would be expensive.. I think Argon might be a better solution... warmer one as well...
