hi
how're you doing multilevel diving without computer? are you using a 'weel'?
thanks

what kind of dive are you talking about: recreational within the *NDL* ~or~ technical with mandatory decompression stops.

That was a trick question... every dive is a deco dive... but basically it involves noting your depth every 5 minutes and profiling the dive, the 120 rule adjusted for EAD, using EAN32 <100 and doing deco stops based on max depth... but always minimum deco of 1 minute at 30',20',10'

Just curious: does DecoPlanner reflect this? Or include deep stops?

animian2002 once bubbled...
What abt repetitive dives  Can the 120 rule still apply

I'm often weary about posting advice on scuba forums on how to compute deompression, or NDL limits, on the fly. My concern is that if someone only understands part of the picture, and not the totality of the issue, then they can wind up bent or worse.

The short answer to your question is that we can compute recreational dives of mult-level and repetitive dives using some basic fundamnetal applications. Similiar methods are applied in techincal diving. While some may also use decompression software such as DecoPlan, the idea that we are trying to promote is that relying on software to do your work for you is a less then efficient idea.

Hope that helps.
