I believe that link only works for AOL users, anyway it won't work for me. rec.scuba is basically a newsgroup and you can check your ISPs newsserver and see if it's listed on it. That's the easiest way to navigate it, or at least I think so. But if they don't have it or you just want to surf it through a website, then Deja has it on the site. Here's the link:

Deja has just about every newsgroup there is, so if you ever get to looking for one just go to their homepage www.deja.com and start wading through! But if you plan on spending much time on newsgroups, then I highly reccommend that you use your newsgroup program, assuming your ISP subscribts to the ones your interested in. Most email programs, like Outlook, Outlook Express & Communicator, have newsgroup readers built in.
 
I've just heard about a local newsgroup I'm interested in (subject:diving - of course!

You wouldn't happen to know if they can be reached from Lotus Notes?
