I have been checking out some Dive Ops on GC for an upcoming trip there 6/3-6/19

I'll be staying on 7MB. Some considerations I have are traveling with a non diving spouse and 3 year old. So it makes it easier to justify being gone if I can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

Looking for an op that is professional, but gives a good amount of leeway to dive my own profile (length / Depth).

Also don't want to hit the same sites over and over - unless I really liked the site and its by my choice.

No Cattle Boats Allowed

Thanks - Sorry so being so picky

Bill

TKD_DIVER,

I think you confused alot of people with all the abbreviations in your post ... We have recieved 4 or 5 emails alone on your post asking what they all mean or stand for.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Everyone,

If someone post and uses abbreviations, please feel free to ask in these forums what they mean, that way everyone can know. We wont bite, promise ... hehe

=-)

Here's what I know:

Dive Ops = Dive Operations
GC = Grand Cayman
7MB = 7 Mile Beach
op = Operation

Hope this helps everyone!

a little too much.

though the only one that should have been a problem (IMNSHO) was 7MB

Oh well - live and learn

Bill, check into Fisheye (www.fisheye.com). Also consider some beach diving. Eden Rocks near the harbor in Georgetown and DiveTech (http://www.divetech.com/) at Northwest Point. The advantage of DiveTech is it is next door to the Turtle Farm. You can beach dive while the wife and sybling visit the Turtle Farm. You can have lunch at Cracked Conch above the dive shop afterwards. You can dive the main wall, if you don't mind a long surface swim, or dive the 60 foot mini-wall closer in.
We will be on GC in July with kiddos AND in-laws, so I have been planning already. Have a great trip!

RonC.

Hi Bill,

I think you'll find DiveTech meets your desiderata.

Have blast.
