I am fairly new to the Doing It Yourself dive equipment scene, but I am sure that there are those out there that are even newer, and looking for ideas. Some of the things I have made thus far can be made at home with minimal tools/materials, others require access to a machine shop and some skills (I have at least the first one)

The first 2 pictures are a aluminum camera housing (haven't had any leaks yet, but I put desicant packets inside in case of small seapage)

third is a primary reel

fouth and fifth are a reg case made from a Dewalt drill case

sixth is a spg cover

seventh, eigth, ninth are my backplate and single cylinder adapter (there are no holes or slots around backplate because it was designed for use with OMS IQ Pack or Hollis HTS 2 harness)

That's what I have done so far, although I am working on a canister light, a video strobe for my housing, and possibly a knife.
Everyone feel free to add their own completed projects or ideas so we can all get more ideas of our own.

You are a craftsman but looking at your profile- it makes sense. You're a Tool and Die Maker. Great job!

What I did so far is :

Dive Belt with plastic buckle.
Weights 2 and 4 pounds with my own mould.
Slate with fast release clip.

I second the tutorial!

Nice work!

Very nice work. What material did you use to make the reel spool and SPG cover?
