My instructor told us we should take a look around SB. (That was one year ago). I guess I am a slow learner. Neat place. I'm ready to pickup where I left off last summer. I only been diving for one year.

Well, BevC, it's never too late to have a happy childhood !!!

We're glad you're back to diving, and even more so that you've joined our happy, bubbly family.

WELCOME!!! to ScubaBoard.

Welcome!-- Who was your instructor?? I am sure We (the SB Family) know him/her.

SB has some outstanding tools for the diver. I could plan a trip, charter, hotel and best local places to eat in say Okinawa, Japan all without a single overseas phone call. The locals will tell you what is good and what stinks.

I have never taken up spearfishing but plan to this summer and SB has been a treasure trove of information on gear and technique. It has been twenty seven years since my OW class but I learn stuff on here all the time. You have access to Marine Biologist, Diving Medicine Specialist, Tech divers, Pioneers in the sport like Kohler and people like Walter who have more time breathing from a Reg than some of the members have logged wearing pants without rubber linings.

Anytime you are jumping off a boat or doing a shore dive post it here and it is very likely someone will join you.
