Too old to service

Here's an example of a regulator that came from a LDS, in a bucket for regulators that had come in and were deemed 'not worth servicing', and abandoned by the owner. I was able to buy it along with several others for a very reasonable price. I disassembled it but have not cleaned it. What do you think, too old to be worth servicing? The exhaust tee is in perfect shape, too.

Here's another that I have not yet had a chance to rebuild, but it breathes quite well after a 5 minute poppet swap.

The metal one is probably a cheap copy from countries far away - Not even a scratch to prove its vintage status.

Sure. But by the time you put a new poppet and seat in there you are looking at another $15 to end up with what??? a 2nd stage that will perform as good or better than many in the $150 to $400 range. Now do you see the problem?
