Here's an example of a regulator that came from a LDS, in a bucket for regulators that had come in and were deemed 'not worth servicing', and abandoned by the owner. I was able to buy it along with several others for a very reasonable price. I disassembled it but have not cleaned it. What do you think, too old to be worth servicing? The exhaust tee is in perfect shape, too.

Sure. But by the time you put a new poppet and seat in there you are looking at another $15 to end up with what??? a 2nd stage that will perform as good or better than many in the $150 to $400 range. Now do you see the problem?:confused:
