Hi

I am looking at going to Koh Tao next week for some Diving .. Does any know how the Diving Visability is at this time of year...

Thanks

Steve

I live and work on Tao, and the diving and visibility are wonderful. The island is busy but not packed, so the sites aren't ridiculously overcrowded, but doo expect other dive boats on most sites at most times.

Dont forget the 3 lies on the Rock
1) I am not drinking tonight
2) I am leaving tomorrow
3) Viz was great

It can get really ****ty sometimes... just to have said it.

Well, Martin, I didn't drink tonight, I'm still not leaving, and White Rock and Hin Pee Wee were 20m plus this morning.

How's that compared to Oslo?

I was there 10 days ago and the diving was great. Viz was 30+ on most dives. Plenty of Bull sharks, cudas, tunas, huge groupers, turtles along with all the regulars. All dives were easy dives, however I don't know if any of this is the norm....my first time diving there.
