kind of a compromise setup for diving doubles + 1 deco gas some days and single tank others. SAC and GTR i only look at for single tank curiosity, would replace those with t2 and something else if i got another transmitter probably.

SAC to keep an eye on exertion at depth;
When I 1st got this computer, I had it on the home screen, but found I was too fixated on it, so I bumped it off. I'm blessed with a good SAC, so decided I really didn't need it there.
I tried Rate of Ascent, but it seemed to lag.
Hmm... I didn't notice any lag. I'll observe a bit more keenly next time I go out and report back.

When I turn on green text on my Perdix AI (Circa 2020), it becomes difficult for me to see the green compass heading marker.

Is there a way to change color of marker? I would prefer to run green text.

Thanks for your timely reply.

TZ

P.S. If no way to change, can you address in future software update please?

Hello TZ,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

As of now there is no option to change the colour of the marker. I am going to use your email as a feature request. We periodically do reviews of suggested enhancements and feature requests prior to new firmware releases. Due to the volume of requests we get, I can’t promise that this improvement will be included in our next update, but I’ve added your request to that list.

Best,

FYI

Let me stir the pot...

For those that display GF99, why use screen real estate for a datum that is close to zero on every rec dive until the last 20 feet.
Or if you're displaying it on tech dives, it'll be useless until ascent, whereupon it's always below GFHi. What info does it provide? Isn't SurGF a better indicator of your risk if you have to ascend quickly or violate a stop?
It's always available on the scroll of screens, but full time?

Like I said, just :stirpot: ...

I read this and thought I would give it a try. I was already extending my SS and slowly ascending after to get a lower SurGF, but using it to pick the SS depth to supposedly off gas more efficiently intrigued me. After trying and seeing that I was surfacing with even a lower GF, I thought I would continue.

Edit: Plus it gives me something to do during my SS. :)

FYI
I'm trying to understand. Are you saying that when the green text is on, all the heading numbers of the compass are green and so when you mark it with a green marker you can't see it? If so, can you show a photo of it?

That is a great article!!

Oh man, having the mini on the left and that colour scheme really brings out how the rows in the mini aren't well aligned with the labels on the normal-sized fields. Just look at that "311" -> "D1" disaster, ugh. Someone should report this problem to @Shearwater.
