If you're going to make accusations like he did, he should at least back it up a little, that's all.

As suggested earlier, perhaps he doesn't feel that it's his place to 'narc' on specific individuals. Personally, I would consider him to be less of 'a man' if he did out them.

Along the same lines, my company (a hospital) recently implemented a strict no smoking policy. This includes patients, VISITORS, employees, and the entire property not just indoors. I see people smoking in their cars in the parking lot or at the edge of the property every day. However, I don't run back and tell on them. It's their problem to deal with.

If it's that big of a deal to you, perhaps you should start another thread about closet DIR smokers (or lack thereof) since this is yet another off topic...topic.
