So I've always wondered why someone would get a moldable mouthpiece until it hit me.
Do some diver bite down on their mouthpiece? That would make sense as to why some divers come out with jaw fatigue.
In any case I'd like to issue a poll.
How many of you bite down on your mouth piece
VS
Letting the mouthpiece rest in your mouth. I'm talking no pressure between the teeth and mouthpiece; just letting the mouthpiece's curve hold itself between your lips and cheeks.
I have a small mouth so I tend to do the latter
Never had jaw fatigue, and on a rare occasion I'll bite down on the mouthpiece when I'm cold or exerting myself.
I also use the standard mouth pieces that came with my sherwood regs. So no roof palate to help me.
So lets hear it
Edit:
Well I already messed that up. Clicked the wrong answer on the poll
=_=* It's not my day today.
