Much thanks for that and for those who cared enough to help both Rick and Cindy in their time of trouble and need. Rick is still in the hospital and will be for, at least, another couple of months. Skin grafts are very painful as we would all expect. Friends back East are already trying to figure out how to modify his system so that, once he does get back in the water, which will be a long time from now, he will be able to film and dive again.

Rick is now out of the hospital and going to a rehab center. Thank you to all those who made donations. It will be a long time before he can start to earn a living again and get in the water but improvement is there.

Do you know if there is any further progress on the investigation into the cause of the cylinder rupture?
Info from this incident could help teckies be a little safer when handling O2 cylinders.

I'm very glad for this. Anything more on the results of the investigation would be much appreciated too.

Rick and Cindy stopped by my wifes office today for some massage therapy. Rick was inactive for so long that the doctors said that type of treatment would be good for him so Kim pitched in to help with that. He said he felt so much better when he left and so I think it will become a regular thing when he is in town.

I'm also going to cook him some ribs for this Sunday. The man still has an appetite! :D

Hello all. Cindy and I just wanted to thank all my well wishers for their kind thoughts and positive energy! They make a big difference and greatly help in my recovery. I am doing well and working hard so I can return to the water as soon as possible.

I also promise to release the official accident report as soon as I can.

Best to all and good diving!
Rick
