I wear it on my left forearm, same side as my watch. I don't have to dump much air on ascent (for which I use the hip dump anyway), so it makes no impact.

I base a lot of my decisions on their effect on an OOG situation, then by their effect on my in-water convenience, then by out-of-water convenience.

* Donating air will be done with the right hand, as the hose comes out the right side. This means I hold my light in my left hand, which means I have my (unlit) computer on my right wrist.
* With the computer on your right arm, you will be able to see your computer and your buddy's face at the same time while doing a PADI-style octo ascent.

* In addition to venting the wing, if you have a drysuit to vent, you won't be able to see your computer while you do that either, if you have the computer on the left wrist.

right now I'm wearing my computer on my left wrist. Basicly its because I'm just so used to using a wrist watch that flicking my wrist up is instinctive

I wear wrist computer left wrist, which is the same wrist I wear my watch. The first few times with wrist computer little awkward only on ascents. I have not had any problems on descent. Sine still renting gear I usually clip the console with SPG, computer, and compass to my right upper D ring on my BC, that way I have the option using computer in right hand and holding inflator/deflate in left hand. I am also still trying to simply pull corrugated hose which has a left shoulder dump as well.

BTW I asked the same question to my instructor and he wears the computer left wrist as well, so
I didn't feel the need to switch wrist either.

IMO use whatever wrist feels the most natural.

I wear one on each, plus depth gauge on camera housing.

On the Gripping Arm... and if you don't get that reference, you need more exposure to Poul Anderson.

Mine is in a console on my HP hose/SPG.

I hunt bugs, in cracks and crannies, and it's easy to lift the D ringed console to see the computer with whichever hand is free, depending on what you are holding in which hand. I don't want to scrape it off and loose it down a deep crevice.

Both on the right.

Some computers tend to be a little bit temperamental (Uwatecs I find) and the simple act of raising the inflator hose can set off the 'rapid ascent' alarm.

I wear it on the left wrist, then twist it around to the inside part of the wrist if I need my console compass (left hand). My right hand is reserved for regulator/ octopus donations etc.

I do quite a bit of local diving and that means I'm pulling a dive flag. I hold the reel in my left hand. I wear my computer on the inside of my left wrist (actually it is on a bungie mount an inch or two above the wrist - bit more side arm than fully underneath). I find this to be a very natural position as I'm holding the reel in that hand and all I have to do to view the computer is look slightly to my left. When diving without pulling the flag I tend to dive with my arms crossed. That puts the inside wrist of my left arm upward facing to my right. A quick head tilt down and my computer is visible.

Not that I overthink such stuff :D

Both,... I use 2 computers.:D

My Oceanic is on my right forearm, and my backup Suunto is on the left forearm.

Suunto compass on my BCD, and backup Oceanic compass on my right wrist.

Citizen watch on my left wrist. I like to know easily what time it is :) .
