Hi
I purchased a hog 32lb wing and used it this past weekend, the problem is I could not get my trim right. I felt like i was fighting it during a three dives. My quetion is in order to pick my legs up do I need to move the wing up or down. I use a OMS IQ pack with a stainless back plate, and a single tank adapter.

Thanks
Alton

It honestly wouldn't help to move your wing up or down, because even in horizontal DIR trim, you're shoulders are still higher than your waist, so your air will be trapped there as well in your wing.

Try shifting your negative weight up, such as your tank, hip weights etc.
Play around with how far you extend your arms and legs. Sometimes you just need to tilt yourself head downward to break the see-saw effect. Force yourself back into 0-trim then extend and lightly arch your back, clench your butt, and rest your head on your first stage/wing; see where you tilt back to then try again extending your limbs differently to find the balance point.

Also make sure your harness is set right, your waist strap should be snug, your crotch strap should come up so the top is in line with the top of your waist strap. Shoulder straps should be tight enough that you can still slip two fingers between the straps and your shoulders or tight enough that you can still slip it over your shoulder without unbuckling the shoulder straps.

If you can have a buddy video tape you. You can then see how you trim is. The video feedback is very helpful.

I put about 3 lbs on each side of my tank attached to the tank band. Then I put another 5 lbs in my weight pockets, that trims me out perfectly. The amount of weight might be different for you but the concept is the same.

Keep in mind that if you have done a good weight check you want to MOVE weight to tweak trim, not ADD it.

To the OP, it's a big see saw game and little things can make a big difference.

Could it be that you are a bit over weighted, resulting in more air in the wing than would be there if you carried less weight? This can be a trim issue both with a bc or a wing. You might check you weighting.
