how long is the cord from the canister to the light head? Is it one continuous cord or is there a connection in the middle? Thanks.

On mine, assuming he makes them all the same, the cord is about 41" from edge of canister to edge of light head. From edge of cord protector to edge of cord protector is about 36".

I have somewhat long arms ( why I started trombone at such an early age... could reach 7th position ) and I find that I'm able to fully extend my hand out while diving and that when I'm in a normal position I don't have very much cord hanging down.

The morph 1000 has a cord length of 48" and frankly that seems way too long.

Thanks, that sounds just right.

Oh, sorry, I didn't answer the second part. It's not modular. It's all locked in place as one piece.

PS- If you are on the fence, go for it. I've already got a couple dozen dives on this light and I love it. Best value out there. This is a very legit offer.

Another five star review here!

Got mine this week and took it to the quarry... this is clearly a well made unit. The canister is fine for securing a long primary hose, and the beam is nice and strong, it really punches through the murk. As this is my first can light I don't have much to compare it to, but I'm very happy with my purchase and the quick service. I didn't test the overall burn time, but Andrewy says it's 3 hours, so that should be good for my needs.

If you are in the market for a can light, this is a great option.

And yet another positive review. . . my first dive with this light was last Saturday. This is my first canister light, but this little sucker is bright!

Nice workmanship and it was shipped promptly

Guys/Gals these lights like anything involving electronics, orings, water and pressure CAN and WILL flood.
While very sad indeed, and i did flood lights on few occasions myself. 99.99% it is an operator error
:(
I pressurize these lights to 275 FSW for 24hr., to make sure they are sound.
They will stay dry if you dont take it apart and do take care of your light.

Please make sure oring is sound and clean, just run your finger over oring and sealing surface of a canister before packing it.
Do Not lubricate an oring, as it will attract sand. When closing latches make sure they "click" and no wires gets stuck under oring.

If you flood this light, you can simply send it to me i'll rebuild it for $100 flat, does not gets better than that.
