Good day my international dive friends!
If all goes as planned I will be staying for a month in Lovina which is in northern Bali. Does anyone have recommendations for a dive shop there and dive sites there in the Northern areas? I have already been to Nusa Penida and Tulamben so will focus my diving in this north- northwest pocket of Bali.
Thanks ahead of time for your answers

Have always used Bali Dive Academy although in the last couple of months while passing through Bali Ive had friends go onto dive with Aquamarine and all have been very happy with the service. As far as worrying about Nusa Penida Lembongan sites as long as you stay with a reputable op who will read the conditions and assess your ability I don't think you need to be scared of Crystal Bay. Whenever I've dived Crystal Bay it's been a benign site but that is not always the case. Personally my favourite Manta Point dives have been very early mornings which means staying on the island overnight but mantas at sunrise is one helluva way to start the day. Also consider the type of diving you want to do..Tulumben is shore diving, Padang Bai is muck, NP is often drift and bigger stuff if you are lucky and mention your personal interests to the op you choose. A good op will match your requirements and make all the arrangements for you - communication is the key. Have a great time.

You don't say what type of diving you prefer. If muck is your idea of a good time, Tulamben has excellent muck sites (> 15). I'm diving for a week there now and won't exhaust the opportunities,

Hello Tarzana,

Here is a couple of Lovina dive centres you can go with. The best sites for diving and snorkeling are located west of Lovina. I strongly recommend Menjangan Island, which is home to the best preserved coral reef in Bali. This location is famous for the good visibility and great wall-diving opportunities and diverse coral formations.
