Thumbs down forum

LOL at myself. I though that "Thumbs Down" was a forum for complaints (thumbs down on this or that equipment, dive shop, etc.). Never thought of it as thumbs down on the post.

More posters in Thumbs down are putting theirs negative reviews there by choice. I consider it a safer place to complain about a dive shop that might identify me if i were to post in quirky incident in a google-searchable forum. Not all complaints are “Don’t go there”, sometimes it a warning not to deal with a specific person or accept their sales pitches or whatever, but i don’t want to burn my bridges with them because they found out i dissed them.

Dear sir,

Thank you for wasting your valuable time by answering my post. I'll begin by saying that Whine and Cheeze was a fun place where someone would get bent out of shape over something (usually trivial) and many community members would happily rush in to 'help'.

As to motive assignments, there are those of us who prefer to call them 'the latest conspiracy theory'. From the tone of your voice, I can see that you saw through my thinly veiled hearsay that was highly colored by personal opinion and a lot of disremembering.

-Could a mod move this entire thread to "Whine and Cheeze"?

I love Whine and Cheez. We moved it because the butthurt who were complaining didn't want the further insult of being called whiners. I love the butthurt, of course, soI'm happy to see it go back to it's former glory.
