That's quite an assumption. How do you know what his certifications were and weren't?
A little bird told me. I have no reason to not believe them.

Those Thai Navy SEAL don’t need BCD or wing. Just stick Scuba tank on their back plate, reg & mask, they are good to go into the Tham Luang sump. :D

I missing something major here??? Why so up in arms about that post? Do they make the only full face mask or something, I'm just uninformed....
The original post was carefully worded so that a quick reading would give the impression that the rescuers were UTD divers using the UTD Z-system for the rescue, none of which is true. If you parsed the grammar carefully, you would see that they did not actually say that.

So the remaining five will miss the semi final between Belgium and France. Lets hope they will watch Croatia vs England live together with everyone. And of course the Final in Moscow in person as promised by FIFA chief!

Sorry to burst your bubble. :(

Thai cave rescue mission: boys must stay in hospital at least a week - live updates

"The boys will miss the World Cup. Doctors have said they will spend at least seven days in hospital being treated after their ordeal, which means they won’t be able to take up the offer from the president of Fifa to attend the match in Russia next week.

According to a preliminary health check on the first four boys conducted yesterday, two had minor lung infections and one had a fever, doctors said.

Both were treated with antibiotics and were healthy enough to be joking around by the evening.

The boys have seen their parents through glass, but not yet been able to touch or hug them. The hospital hopes they can have a conversation with each other over the phone today.

The boys are still wearing sunglasses as a precaution after spending two weeks in total darkness.

Their diet has been upgraded from diluted porridge: they are now allowed bread and chocolate, their two requests on Tuesday morning. The doctors have emphasised that all are safe and healthy."

Perhaps it can be rain-checked to Qatar 2022?

Wow, that text from UTD Asia is outrageous. Especially when they talk about "rescuers and boy". Life-time ban from me.
