Great news!

" specifically to explore the cave that's only reachable under water."

Is this some sort of press dramatization? I'm trying to understand how this is different from many other 'underwater caves' :)

Rarely ends well like this. Great news

So there ya are, lost in a cave, been there 28 hours. You're no slouch of a cave diver, but you're out of gas, no lights, gear broken, can't get out on your own, and you know that one or some of your 5 team mates are out, and help will be coming. But 28 hours is a long time. And you haven't lost hope, but your air's a little stale, and it's cold, and you gotta pee and you're thirsty, and 28 hours is a long time, and you've already sung all of the songs you know the words to. Twice.

And Edd-freaking Sorenson pops up and asks how you're doing.

Discuss.

Not to sound like a Jack, but who is Ed Sorenson? Aside from evidently being very good at cave diving? Time to google

edit. ah cool just pulled him up.

*Edd. Owns Cave Adventures at Mill Pond in Jackson county, Florida.

Edd has 6 live rescues (and numerous body recoveries) from caves. Think about that. He has pulled 6 people alive from a cave.
